cycling shorts and your package....

Sorry to bring this up but its a serious issue really. Ever since I started cycling I have found padded Lycra shorts to be uncomfortable when it comes to the meat and two veg.

Recently got some dhb pros and the fit is fine, but they seem to compress my nuts and I'm always trying to find a comfortable packaging position.

I'm not a small fella down there shall we say, however surely I shouldn't be getting slightly purple balls and sports willy from trying to sit stuff down there. This has always happened with all shorts I have had, but the dhbs are highlighting the issue. I have always wondered why Lycra shorts aren't cut to shape in the gentleman area like briefs etc.

Are there any options for relief?

 why the bloody hell hasn't any other brand come up with this ?

Suffered years of purple balls and sports willy. Trouble is price is high, but for the comfort...

I don't think so. I sit on my sit bones, there as hole in the saddle and the angle tilts down slightly. I just seem to getcrush d and uncomfortable on rides.

Not sure about well endowed, but I *do* find my "kuku penthouse" T-Centos are the comfiest shorts I have by a long margin. I've been desperately trying to find some other shorts that offer something even remotely similar without the £200 price tag. But I'm pretty much resigned to the fact it's going to be another pair of assos.

Don't suffer from purple balls (thank christ) with any of my others, but I do struggle to find a comfy place to put the little fella where he actually stays put.

    This.

Lift them up and stand with your legs together before getting on the bike and position your sausage to either side that's most comfortable. Keeps them up and out the way and not given a kicking by the saddle when going over bumps.

Never before have I taken such an interest in another man's junk... Honest... I haven't!
