Riding it for around two months, loving it. First adventure into carbon.

Nice bike I have the SL 9.0, if you were wanting to put deep sections on, wouldn't you have been better going for an Aero Road?Trainer Road Blog: https://hitthesweetspot.home.blog/

Lovely bike. Would love to hear your thoughts on the Force 22 group set. Was considering upgrading the 10 speed force on one of my bikes.
All the best and enjoy the ride0 -

- Bar tape is this: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/ritc ... prod112198 Its more cushioned than the standard Canyon tape, to be honest switched for looks more than anything else. So far seems really easy to keep clean. It is expensive for tape but the quality is exceptional and it feels so good.
Currently 800 miles in, done around 300 on the carbonzone wheels. Hit some nasty holes, weather and they are still holding up. Have to admit I am really paranoid about a failure and check them after each ride. Love the wheels, purchased on a “seemed like a good idea at the time” moment. Actually bought for another bike project – Dengfu FM098 Venge clone. However ended up sticking them on this for fun. I did look at the Aero range but wasn’t sure on the geometry and the reviews seemed mixed on the handling.
Force is great, although I only have experience of SRAM’s Apex and Shimano 105 to compare. Its hard to explain but shifting is really positive, has a great feel and clicks in nicely. Double tap is awesome and works well. No issues with components up to now and seems well built. Certainly prefer over my 105 groupset. Would certainly buy Force again.0
