Good question, have you tried asking in Pro Race forum?I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0

Speed data is regularly provided, but I can't see the point of cadence. Bit like updating the audience on what size trousers they all wear...0

The following shows the routes.
You can click on the riders to find how they raced over each stage.

the cycling weekly app is pretty good, also shows power details for some climbsTrainer Road Blog: https://hitthesweetspot.home.blog/

What would it add?
Seeing cadence - meaningless really, same with power / speed and heart rate. If you're trying to compare yourself with the pros, forget it. They are just faster, more powerful and better than you.
Decent commentary is what UK coverage is lacking, not irrelevant data.0 -
As an F1 fan, I love a bit of irrelevant data.
I like that the Shimano team have been playing with on-board cameras with great results.
The speeds are very rarely mentioned, except at the end as an average. I'm sure this could be added more often, the speed of each group for example (although not always relevant when you have bumpy terrain).0 -
I would like to see some sort of graphic tracking so you can find out where a particular rider is, instead of the commentators guessing.
And, there is no reason why we can't have a running "virtual GC" leader graphic that calculates interactive time differences.
Just a couple of examples. There are so many more.
It doesn't all have to be on the main screen. Formula one offers loads of this sort of stuff via interactive buttons and apps. There for those that want to pay for it. That's the way to go.
I actually quite like the commentary we get. Considering they have probably as little data to go on as we do I think they do a reasonable job. Try turning the sound off and doing it yourself. Not easy.0 -
I watched a fair bit of yesterdays stage on ITV and there was virtually no mention of speed, which I thought was odd.0

It's not live data obviously but some tour riders post their rides on Strava
e.g. http://www.strava.com/activities/162458459/analysis
You can see speed, cadence, heart rate etc. You can see from Laurens ten Dam here that his cadence is either 0 or between 90-100rpm, it's always in a consistent range, no grinding up hills.0 -
Meh - seems like Ten Dam hit 62 mph on the descent.
And I thought I was doing OK on 42 down there yesterday. At least he didnt have people on MTB's to avoid !0
