Has anyone else had any trouble recently with Dave Hinde's online sales? Their customer service is non-existent, their staff on the phone are incredibly rude and they have my money - but I don't have a front wheel and have no idea if/when it might appear. Any ideas about how to get them to talk sense or do I have to go to court/trading standards/advertising standards authority/uncle tom cobley....??

    Long shot... plenty of bad reviews on the web... it's a case of read before you buy

    If you paid by card get in touch with your bank or card provider. If you paid with PayPal contact them and raise a dispute.

    havent seen a BikeRadarDaveHinde thread for ages.... will you guys just stop it and get some work done in that place.... you know you just crack us up

    If you paid by credit card and it cost over £100 advise the credit card company you have not have the goods delivered in time and are holding the credit card company not the retailer liable for a section 75 claim. The credit card company will then contact the retailer and you will get a very quick refund.

    Had this with floors to go or whatever they are called now for not refunding unused / unopened flooring. They ignored all my recorded letters, phone calls etc. Contacted the credit card company and full refund within 2 days.

    Thanks guys, appreciate the advice and next time I'll be more careful and do a bit of reputation checking first.

    Never used them on-line as they are my LBS.

    Well aware of their on-line sales reputation but they have been nothing but excellent when you go into the shop.

    Couldn't recommend them highly enough.

    You'd be best following Kajjal's advice ASAP, to be honest they re total charlatans and you may as well start the process now rather than wait for a never ending resolution.

    Besides, my 'bad DH experience' was from going to the shop - technically it's my most L of BS.

    Bought online from DH once and it was a completely normal experience. Ordered item - item arrived a few days later.
