Zero to hero training plans?

So runners have the couch to 5km training plan which gets you from being a cabbage up to running 5km over the course of several weeks.

I was wondering if anyone knew of any similar fitness training guides for road bikes?

    What level are you starting from? Just riding your bike regularly is a good place to start.

    Well I'm not a complete veg. I normally go mountain biking or running but was hoping to find some sort of structured training plan.

    Structure depends on what it is you are trying to achieve. Which is why I asked what level you were starting from. Not being a 'complete veg' as you put it, doesn't really clarify things much...
