Netflix account closure

Anyone else got an email about their netflix account being closed 'as requested' when they have not requested it?

Could be a phishing scam I guess but I wondered if it was netflix taking a gamble that you will rejoin at the higher price.
They shot themselves in the foot with us if thats the case lol.

Actually, just checked and its not a phasing scam. There is nothing to click on to reply to etc.

    Gets weirder, have just rejoined apparently according to email I have just got :shock:.

    Am going to be leaving again sharpish. This time it will be me thats requesting it!

    Apparently its an iTunes thing and it does not seem that we were going to be charged at the higher rate going forward.

    Netflix cannot access your account (bit sh1t) if you pay via iTunes apparently, so after I went to the hassle of checking it out, I canceled it :lol:
    Might mean we watch it more in our last month lol.

    Would have probably paid forever if they had not cocked up.
