I have come to realise that because my Oakley Radars have long straight arms they are incompatible with some helmets. I have had trouble with Kask with the over engineered cradle and now Ive found out that the new POC helmet will not work with the Oakleys. Are the helmets or the glasses at fault? Are the long straight arms on the Oakleys due for a redesign ie a bend in them?

My Oakleys work fine with my Kask ? And all of Sky use them - so you'd not think there is a problem ?
I think the POC helmet is designed to work with the POC glasses - so they're at fault and being a bit stupid.
Its an awful looking helmet and expensive too - so why lumber people with having to get crappy POC glasses too.
(can you tell I'm not keen on POC ?)
AFAIK - Oakleys have had straight arms for all their sports glasses for years now ? The eyeshade was different though.0 -
The KASK Mojito helmets that Sky use have a different (much more minimal) retention mechanism than the retail version which is why there is no conflict with the Oakley glasses. See pic...
I wear a Mojito helmet and the fit is sublime however I wear Rudy Project glasses which have an adjustable ear piece which doesn't impact with the retention mech.0 -
Fit for glasses and helmets depends on where your ears are. There may be combinations that fit the individual better, but no gaurentee it will fit most.--

The retention system on my Mojito was also uncomfortable. I tried it low to fit round the Oakleys and it started to wear away the collar on my jacket. My ears are in a pretty normal position, I hope.Pegoretti
