Bike shed suggestions

I tried to search but couldn't find what I was looking for.

Does anyone have a good idea for a bike storage rack/shed type thing?
I currently keep our bikes in the garden shed but it is a bit of a struggle getting them in with the mower and general gardening stuff.
Need something big enough to fit 3 bikes.

It will be going in the back garden- we lock our bikes down to a ground anchor too.
Budget is £300 or so.
A flat roof would be infinitely preferable too.

Here's your best option, if your budget can handle it.

2020 Reilly Spectre - raw titanium
2020 Merida Reacto Disc Ltd - black on black
    2015 CAAD8 105 - very green - stripped to turbo bike
    2018 Planet X Exocet 2 - grey

    The departed:

    2017 Cervelo R3 DI2 - sold
    Boardman CX Team - sold
    Cannondale Synapse - broken
    Cube Streamer - stolen
    Boardman Road Comp - stolen

  • The problem is google throws up a hell of a lot of options and I have no idea if they are any good or not.
I asked here because I'm sure people will have bought various products in the past and I can leverage that expertise and knowledge, saving me time and money.

Cheers- a bit over budget but might be a good option.

    I bought one of these:

Decent price and better quality than a lot of the budget bike sheds.

I can get three road bikes in there. If I face them alternate directions and interlock the bars, then there's room at the end for a large mobile tool box, workstand and bits. Also, it's high enough to add shelves above the bikes.

It's worth bitumening the floor before assembly and using a decent preservative.

Oh, that's the 7" by 3" option. A 7" by 4" one would remove the need to interlock the bars.
  • Cheers, that looks great.

Not to mention its the whole purpose of a forum. Gathering opinions, posting messages etc even if similar messages have been posted previously. You say you already searched this forum but found nothing. The next person who does the same search will now find this. Google has its uses but asking on a specific web forum will more likely get you specific results. This is why I will never post things like "google it" or "there are several threads asking the same thing". The more the merrier.

As for sheds I would want it made out of something sturdier than wood, such as metal or bricks. Also if you have screws holding the locking bolt, doors, or windows etc then its advisable to strip the head of the bolts so some thieving scrote cant undo them to get in.

Hmmm, that give me an idea actually.
I do have a sturdy, lockable shed already, which is where the bikes currently live, with their ground anchors etc, in amongst the garden stuff- mower, strimmer, power washer etc.
I was thinking of buying a special bike storage area but actually what I should probably do is buy a smaller unit just for the garden stuff and keep the bikes where they are.
Thanks-I wouldn't have thought of it otherwise.
