Folks, my wife was lucky enough to win Chris Froome's 2012 TDF Pinarello Dogma in a Cycling Weekly competition. As the bike is too large for both of us we have decided to sell it and donate all of the proceeds to charity.

Please can you take a look and share with as many cycling friends as possible as we are very keen to raise as much money as possible for these 4 great charities.

Thanks

Yeah great gesture giving the proceeds to charity.

Out of interest when you are listing a charity auction like this do you still get stung for ebay fees or is it waived?

Fair play to you for forsaking about £10k and giving it to charity. Not many people out there would do that!

Indeed, fair play to you. I certainly would not do that!

Right size for me but unfortunately about £6,000 (currently) above what I could afford!

As others have said, well done for doing this! I'd like to think I would do something similar but in reality I'm fairly sure I wouldn't!

Well done, sir, well done. Speaks well about you and your wife's standards and how one should treat such a windfall as the winning of this bike. Hopefully it will draw a good price and the charity will benefit from your generosity.
Lets just got for a ride, the heck with all this stuff...

Omar Little, eBay waive their fees and they have a great way in which the proceeds go directly to the charity, not via us. Sadly, they can't do percentages to different charities, but Action for Children Scotland are kindly forwarding the cash on to the other 3 charities we want to benefit.

I've got an idea...why don't you give it to me - and then I'll ride it at every opportunity and get sponsored for every sportive going and give it all to your charities.....what's that...no!

Oh well. Good luck with it. Chapeau with what you are doing!
