Bad GPS on Garmin Edge 500 - Stages PM interference?

Hi

Just recently I have been experiencing problems with my Garmin in that the GPS is all over the place and therefore not picking up the segments on Strava. I did a complete reset of the device and the following ride was perfect, no issues at all, next ride the same. Last night I went out and did a very hard 20 minute interval, came home and the GPS was out again meaning the segment times werent picked up.

I used the SNAP facility to correct but have decided against using this now because I think sometimes the times it produces are somewhat inflated so rather than have inaccurate segement times, I just leave the old file on with bad GPS data, afterall the legs know what work was done.

I'm also using a Stages Power meter and I believe the problem has begun, or certainly got worse since I had this. Like I mentioned it doesnt happen all the time but it's just getting to be a pain now.

Anyone have same issues, how can I resolve?
