Hi just bought new carbon frame took to a well known bike dealer
To have gears done within two miles gears jumping and chain being thrown
Got someone to look at it rear derailiers not set right and back wheel not even aligned
Front mech set to low on frame and chain rubbing in both rings
Front mech cable had wire strands sticking out
New white tape now needs replacing as oil all over it
But also frame scratched both sides of top tube from there jig
Had cost of gear service refunded what do i do about scratch

I like the way you've written that so it looks like a poem.

why not try telling them you're taking them to the small claims court? They've effectively admitted that they've done a poor job by returning the service cost. I thought most bike manufacturers stated that you should not clamp a frame but use a seat post for 'mechanicing'.

I can't tell from the OP (I'm struggling to read it properly to be honest) but have you actually mentioned the scratch to them? If so, have they refused to accept liability for it? If that is the case you are going to struggle to prove they caused the damage.

They said they'll look into it the frame was brand new never ridden
And you can tell the scratches are from there jig as they are
Symmetrical on both side of tube wouldn't be so apparent if there
Wasn't oil ingrained in to them

Unless you can make your poems rhyme, I prefer the ones that rhyme.

There also needs to be some oblique seasonal reference too. I welcome the return of HaikuRadar!

Can anyone now read the original post without doing it in a Yoda voice?

    Nah thats intentional.

Its a postmodern spoken word jazz inspired interpretation of the form- that you've clearly never heard of. I'm just too free and open to be constrained by the 5-7-5 'traditional' form.

    don't you know anything grandad.

Either that, or i'm unlikely to find my fortune in freeform cycling related poetry

Let me think outside the box for a moment and run that up the 'free-thinking' flagpole, because I think I could certainly action the idea of a mangement career, given sufficient incentivisation.
