They are perfect.
I was quite happy with the DeFeet but these are much nicer.

I just use cheap ankle length running socks from sports direct, think they were about 2 quid a pair and they do the job. As an added bonus they have a fluoro bit that sticks up above the back of the shoe which can only help to be noticed by drivers....0
