We are having a few days sight seeing in London at the beginning of next week with the kids and I'd really like to visit a couple of nice bike shops, any recommendations ? Thanks.

Condor on Grays Inn Road is well worth a look: http://www.condorcycles.com/

    Hope you enjoy your visit.

You do realise however that London is one of the busiest cities in the world, and massive in size..

You will not get many responses unless u narrow down where abouts in London u'll be...

Condor is definitely one of the better shops in London with much to lust over. I dare not go to the basement any more these days. I can't tell you what I saw last time I went down there, but it grabbed hold of my wallet and ripped everything out of it.

    Kinoko Cycles is cool.

Not bike shops as such - but Look Mum No Hands and the Rapha Cycle Club are both worth a visit (LMNH is pretty kid friendly as well).

I don't go into town bike shops much these days as I am well served by Sigma Sport in Kingston - so I am sure there's a million and one other cool shops. But Condor is special - just be careful in the basement.

Yeah, Rapha is cool. Nice little coffee shop as well as showing races on the TV.

If they are sightseeing London, I'd say zone1?, Probably Croydon and Kingston are not very handy I would say... so Condor is perfect, being relatively close to attractions like the British Museum

  • For serious drool-factor you could go to Bespoked on Farringdon Road - about a 5 min walk from Condor.
There's so much bling kit in there security is tight and they buzz you in and out through the door(!)

The Specialized concept store in Covent Garden is cool.

    Sigma Sports is also nice

Rapha and Kinoko aren't much more than a hundred yards apart. Two for the price of one Tube stop.

Did Rapha this weekend, sniff out what I wanted then use the 20% off code online

As for the shop, very nice, had the best gooey chocolate flapjack ever, it seems odd to rave about a flapjack but it was something else. *dribble*

WOW......what a mad place that is !!! Managed to stop in at Condor and the Specialized store in Covent Garden.

Spent all day Tuesday in the Natural History Museum with the kids, what a stunning build !!!

I'm pleased to be back at work today and away from the madness....
