TT Practice - SW London

Looking to push myself a bit and try a time trial. But would like to find a section of road near SW London for a practice run. Ideally 10 miles long, with limited give way signs, traffic lights, speed bumps.... and no traffic! Any suggestions?
PS: Yes, Richmond Park is an option. But I'm guessing I'd need to be up very early to not get slowed down by traffic (not to mention 100s of other cyclists!)

Hounslow's TT curcuit is pretty good if you are willing to travel out to Chertsey. Depending on where you are it gives a good warm up ride getting there.
I think you will struggle to find anything much closer that will give you the kind of free flowing riding that you are looking for. I live in the area and can't think of anywhere other than RP, which is pretty decent after 19:00https://www.bikeauthority.cc/

Are you able to get to Richmond Park during a weekday? Outside of commuting hours it is pretty quiet.0

Chertsey isn't too far, a nice warm up as you say. Found that course on Strava, so will give it a go next time I get a chance.
For RP, I tend to go up there weekends and week mornings. Hadn't considered that it might be quieter during the day on weekdays, will see if I can get away with a long lunch!
Thanks both :-)Weekend: Orbea Orca SLi2, Shimano Dura Ace C50s & Conti GP4000s

One of the best things I find with Strava is the ability to view the segments map and locate rides in your area. In my area all the club TT courses have been created as segments.0

G10/42 is our club ten course and not far away. Google it and you'll see details.Blog on my first and now second season of proper riding/racing - www.firstseasonracing.com0 -
Thanks, found the G10/42, might well give that a go.
@BrandonA: Maybe I'm missing an option in Strava, but it seems you can only search by name OR location. So just typing in TT gives me segments from all over the world, whilst scanning the map gives me a lot to try to pick from (there's hundreds of segments in Richmond Park alone!)
Possibly a feature request, unless, I'm just being a dunce....Weekend: Orbea Orca SLi2, Shimano Dura Ace C50s & Conti GP4000s
