Milton Keynes locals - the Bowl?

Are the roads around the Bowl open for general training or are they closed when there is no racing taking place? I'm down for work with my bike and it looks like a good circuit to do some training on. Can't find an answer on Google so thanks in advance!

The Bowl is an open public park with tarmacced paths criss-crossing it - use it how you see fit. The roads around it are a mix of grid roads and estate roads, with the infamous Redway [mixed ped + cycle routes] network feeding into it so in theory you won't need to touch the roads to get there.

You'd probably be better off finding a route out of town - all the villages to the west provide some brilliant routes, or you could have a read of this from a few weeks ago. viewtopic.php?t=12960702&p=18772942

You can at times do circuits of the bowl. I know that a couple of my mates used to do it until quite recently with Team MK. You can't access it unless the club open it up though as it's through locked gates.
