Thinking of selling my 2012 Allez Elite with upgrades to fund the purchase of a TT bike. Searched the usual sites and the choices are limited it seems. Likely at the minute is the Planet X with 105 at £999 but it pains that I would likely need to spend another £400 on a decent set of wheels, likely from the same company.

Any other bikes I should consider? Could I save a bit of cash and buy the bike with deep carbon wheels already as spec abd if so where?

Thanks all

Most TT bikes are sold with non-TT wheels as wheels are a very personal choice... they just need to sell you a bike with wheels for legal reasons, so they give you some cheapos

The PX Exocet, seems to include pretty much all you could need for a beginners TT. I don't think there are many companies who could offer a full TT rig with deep wheels for £1400. I would say do it!
