dating a Dawes Galaxy

p.s. any guesses at a valuation, if you can? It looks like a new cassette (& chain), and they are new (Marathon) tyres and bar tape.

A user on another forum posted this catalogue. On page 12 it looks very much like this bike, making it a 1990 or so frame

Send Dawes, photographs and frame numbers, with this info they dated mine to 1994. Very helpful.

So, I bought it today. It was an absolute steal.

New shwalbe marathon tyres
new chain
new cassette (8 speed)
new handlebar tape
new big ring
wheels have been replaced at some point, with the rear being a freehub
loads of life in the rims
no deep rust on the frame, only some slight stuff which will clean up
perfect size for me

£100!

No need - Discoboy is correct. Colour is wrong for 1991 and transfers changed in 92. Fairly sure there was something obviously different about the 89s but the colours changed every year anyway and the OPs one is clearly the 1990 Galaxy colour.
