I am looking to buy my first bibshorts but only have a budget of £30.
Been looking at the RST 2014 Premium bibshorts from Cycle Division or the Planet X Clubman from Planet X.

Does anyone have any experiences or know much about these.

Not sure if SportsDirect do them or not but they are cheap as chips and do for the occasional outings.

Up your budget just a little and go for some DHB Aeron Pros from Wiggle. You won't regret it if you do.

Try Tenn outdoors. I have a pair of Pro shorts which are not bad. I cant fault the quality of them and the pad is reasonable and seems to have lasted so far. They sell from their website and also through Amazon.

I would ignore the Sports Direct offering. I got some from there and they were awful.

Mmm... I'm in the same predicament at the moment, torn between the Planet X and the lusso. ......

FWIW - I bought two pairs of the Lusso while they still had my size and have been happy with them.

I got a couple of TENN OUTDOOR padded shorts from amazon. Get the VIPER padded ones.

I'm 5'11" and 86 kilos, so pretty heavy for a cyclist...

I find them very very comfortable

Up your budget just a little and go for some DHB Aeron Pros from Wiggle. You won't regret it if you do.

The Aeron Pros are £59.24 currently, almost double the ops budget.

The standard Aerons are pretty decent though at £27.99.

Team kit and Scott branded shorts.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

    Hi,

    Just ordered these,...

The Planet-X Clubman bib shorts are designed with a more relaxed fit than our Pro Line equivalents and are perfect for training or sportives. Built around the substantial Pro Line 3D pad, the shorts are made from an utra-stretchy fabric that clings to the skin to keep chafing and discomfort at bay. The Clubman Light takes these tried-and-tested features and pairs them with an extra-light mesh bib for unparalleled breathability beneath your jersey.
The Planet X Clubman clothing is used day in and day out by Pro Continental race team Christina Watches in all conditions during their exhaustive training regime. All designs were realised with pro input from the very start, and no detail was spared in their expert gaze and extensive testing.

ZIPVIT Sports are doing a pair at £28 discounted for a few days - just bought some on recommendation and are very good with a very good pad - as good as top of the range DHB pro pad which I have had in the past - This is on the proviso that you don't mind 'Zipvit' plastered over them!. Very good Italian material to boot.
