ultegra 10 speed chainset with Athena 11 speed mechs?

Thinking of trying out Campag & was wondering if I could keep my 10 speed Ultegra chainset & use with Athena 11 speed shifters / front mech or will I require a new Campag specific 11 speed chainset?

    I've briefly used a 10 speed Tiagra chainset with my 11 speed Athena setup as an emergency measure when I had a chainset failure on holiday. It seemed to work fine to me (Although shifting was possibly a little less crisp than the FSA I was using before)

    Whether you SHOULD use a Shimano chainset with Campagnolo is a different question entirely ;)
