I'm struggling to find comfortable bib shorts at a decent price. I'm 6ft 1" 34-35" waist but I don't have huge thighs so when I get the XXL they tend to be baggy around the thigh area and the grips don't grip were as XL fit & grip fine on the thighs but they never seem to be long enough from the crotch upwards and the shoulder straps tend to dig in as I have quite a long torso.
Are there bib shorts on the market ?.

  • I'm 6'2, with a 33-34 inch waist and I generally buy size L. Not surprised you're struggling with fitting if you're buying XXL. That seems way too big.
Also, remember that bib shorts are designed for comfort whilst on the bike so will generally 'pull' when standing upright, giving the feeling that they are not long enough.
Assos (although rather expensive) sell their shorts based on a rider's height only.

May the road rise up to meet you.
