2014 Talas, suggested pressure on fox website for 80kg (with gear) 135 psi !

My last fork was 70-80

Major change for 2014 or something?

What it says on the website is irrelevant.Just put whatever pressure is required to set your sag correctly

Thanks, 125psi gave me 25% sag. It would appear 2014 uses a smaller cartridge which means higher psi.

Strange though, it takes 135psi to fully extend the fork to 160mm, at 125psi you get about 155 seal to seal. You can manually push them up to 160mm

Like it this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJVktlXGysM (not my video)

    Is that normal?

Brand new? Go use them and let things bed in.

    Then reset pressure as needed.

Still at 155mm at 125psi with 25% sag, done 100 miles on the bike now...

Feels fine, but I'm no expert

Thats the main thing, as long as they are setup they way you like and not bottoming out then your fine.
