Just specing up my Rose to purchase at the end of the month and wanted to have a look at the options in regards to groupset

So the options are Ultegra, DA or Chorus. I have pretty much ruled out DA as for the type of riding I dont think i will notice the difference between Ultegra and DA.

So that leaves me Ultegra and Chorus. The Ultegra base build is £1689 and the Chorus is £2116 with the same wheels and finishing kit.

I was under the impression that Ultegra and Chorus sit quite close together in the grand scale of things with Chorus maybe being slightly higher. Chorus looks so much better and i am swaying towards Chorus on looks alone but financially is it really worth paying the extra £400 for ??

From the looks of it the Chorus equipped bike seems a great price but the Ultegra spec looks an absolute steal

If that's for 6800 then you'd be foolish not to go with it.

    Yep 6800.

Going to order with a set of Cosmic Carbones so the total would be £2050.

So im not going mad and it is as good as it looks

Ultegra and buy a DA chainset (or something else) if you are bothered about looks?
