Yep Ian, lovely Bike, are those Enve 45's? If so I have them on my Europcar with CK hubs and they really are fantastic wheels0
-
Great bike and color
A longer stem maybe,because of saddle position?0 -
They are Enve SES 3.4 wheels with CK hubs, not had chance to test them out yet but heard they are awesome.Velonutter wrote:Yep Ian, lovely Bike, are those Enve 45's? If so I have them on my Europcar with CK hubs and they really are fantastic wheels0

I see it has Campagnolo. That is excellent.
It's just a hill. Get over it.0 -
It looks like Dawn French in road bike form.0

I love the frame, but the Colnago seat post looks gash. I'd rather go with 3T LTD post and stem.0

Not tried the 3.4's so would be interested in your thoughts, I'm dead chuffed with my 45's and the CK hubs, they just go on forever!0 -

Nah Mark, all that is needed is to change the hoods to white like I did on my 150th C59.

I think these white schemes look best with the Colnago glossy white stem if they already have the white Colnago seatpost. Velonutters gets away with it a bit thought though because there's more black in the saddle.
On the OP's one I'd get the Colnago white stem though, then maybe the hoods. 3T doesn't complement it really, neither do the garish Schwalbe logos, Veloflexes would look more the part and probably be better at the same time.0 -
Each to their own I suppose, but I feel that there is such a thing as over-gilding a lily. The frame is all that you need white. The post, bars, tape and hoods such all be black IMHO, or it just looks tonk. You should make a feature of the frame, not drown it out in white components.
That's just my view though. Your frame, your choice.0 -

I tend to agree with this.
