Cervélo R3 Dark Force, Sram 22 & Rotor 3DF

Hi there,
I am a proud owner of a Cervélo RS and now a "less proud" owner of a brand new Cervélo "R3 Dark Force"
as I have experienced some bad trim/rub shifting issues. I found an official communication by Cervèlo Italia about problems regarding shifting performances btw the Sram YAW system and Rotor 3DF crankset (!?!),
which have rquired to opt for a different bike buiding from the company's specked build. Basically the communication (http://bit.ly/1mbncJx dated 23 January 2013!) says the Sram 22 Front Derailleur, with YAW technology, in order to work as it should, requires its Sram crankset and the adoption of a Rotor 3df crankset would had compromised shifting performances.
Now, if that is correct, it means to me Cervélo is deliberately selling to the public badly specked bikes (like mine R3 Dark with SRAM Force22 + Rotor3DF) and that would be very, very, very bad.
What do you think?

Suspect it is the derailleur being badly setup more than the chainrings. The NoQ rings should be shifting OK, maybe not perfect but rubbing is not a function of the chainrings is it?0
