You'll love it and never want to go back"Arran, you are like the Tony Benn of smut. You have never diluted your depravity and always stand by your beliefs. You have my respect sir and your wife my pity"

The evo appears to have a shorter head tube for the equivalent size canyon, the evo is possibly the more aggressive in terms of geometry. The evo frame is not the himod evo frame.0

If the Cannondale is available at an LBS, I would go for that. Canyons represent great value on paper but they are still suffering major problems in meeting demand. Just do a search on this forum. You will find plenty of people disappointed about their dream bikes taking months to arrive. It was bad last year and it appears they are having problems again this year. Admittedly, some people have got their bikes early but it's a lottery.
My own experience is that I ordered an in stock CF SLX 9.0 Pro at the beginning of February which I was told would arrive within five to eight days. By the end of March, I was still waiting and, despite the offer of free Oakleys, bit tights and top, I eventually cancelled.0 -

BMC Teammachine slr02 (if you prefer the red, buy the 105 version and buy an ultegra group set from Merlin)
Willier GTR or a zero 9 with a bit of a deal
Bianchi Sempre Pro
De Rosa 838 (heard it is the same as a ribble frame just a different paint job, no idea tho)
I'm in a similar position, budget has etched a bit higher testing the Scott Addict 10 next week, but I kept having what I wanted then not being happy enough when testing it.
Now I've caused some trouble I am going to go visit a gin selling establishment0 -
oooooo
The Canyon man. Lighter, full group. Looks cool.
TBH I'm not sure about the frame arguments - I would go Canyon.0 -
Love the Canyon in team colours.
Other suggestion would be Scott Foil Ultegra di2 offer from Westbrook or Cycle Division at £1400 would leave plenty for really good wheels and nice bars stem and saddle.
And Chorus is great, had it for years before I went to Force 22 to keep costs down on my latest build.25th August 2013 12hrs 37mins 52.3 seconds 238km 5500mtrs FYRM Never again.0 -
