Twice now I've had a Bluetooth 4 heart rate monitor stop working and now today, my Ant+ Duotrap speed/cadence sensor mysterious stopped working after just a months use. In both cases, replacing the CR2032 battery for a new one did not help.
However, taking the battery out, putting it back in the wrong way around (so as to short-out the two battery connections), then putting the battery back in again (right way around) and replacing the cap has brought both sensors back to life.
It's a tip I picked up from Wahoo support and I assumed it only applied to their Bluetooth sensors. But having seen it also work on an Ant+ sensor, seems a good one to be aware of. Thought I'd pass it on.
