I think this looks kinda cool.

Would you wear one?

does look quiet nice, though overkill for my riding, so for that reason i'm out
All lies and jest..still a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest....
  • The SPEEDairo in black is very cool...but I know what you mean.

My Nephew, aged 2, snapped my Rudy glasses [ frames ] and my helmet needs replacing - looks like a possible replacement that is affordable bearing in mind the cost of glasses and helmet will be double.

I used to race back then so the aero aspect, if any [marketing], might not be justified for just keeping fit....I do like bleeding edge tech though. In five years nearly everyone will have one, I suspect.

    Uuuummmmm....
  • I've been considering the speedster with out the lense recently, for Some reason I prefer the look of these to the air attack or spec. Evade.

I first saw the Giro air attack with the sheild and thought it looked great, however this one is better, need to try it on to be sure.

I'd wear one on the track if I was fast enough to warrant it.

Makes him look like Paul, (the alien.)
I wouldn't wear one, you can only get away with the likes of them with small heads IMO
Not my big awkward one for example :)

I am borderline size wise with a 89cm nut, If I go for the larger size the mushroom look is on the cards.

The SPEEDster has variety in colours though....Uuum!

I know I don't do TT's or have an expensive enough bike to justify buying one, also other cyclist will take the piss unless I am going as fast as a tdf rider while wearing it.

Also I have a massive head

But I just like the sci fi look of them & having done a few trialthons, one might suit be better than my current only bike helmet which is a mtb helmet I bought for £1 at a bike jumble.

I think these look great, and if they save some watts then great, but if you wear one, you will never, ever be able to let anyone overtake you ever again......
