Can anyone point me in the right direction, I am looking for a steam mounted phone holder for my I5S or Note2 without to much success

    Steam will knacker your phone. I wouldn't bother.

    Not sure I'd choose to have something as big as a phone on the front of my bars. :?

    I've been using a stem-mounted Topeak Ridecase with an iPhone 4 since April 2012 and iPhone 5 since last October without issues; I like to have it within sight rather than in a pocket.
