Beginner riders in the Cheshire area?

Hi, I'm new to the whole road cycling thing and have just got to grips with the basics (cadence, watts etc). After a ride with a friend from Staffordshire I noticed that I felt I could ride more comfortably and further when riding with another person. So basically I am just asking to see if there are any other beginner cyclists around the Cheshire area who fancy being a cycling buddy?
I only ask as I am not yet up to a good enough standard (short ride = 60 miles) to join my local cycling club!
Any takers?
P.s - I have ridden bikes for years so I'm used to cycling safely on the road, I'm just new to the concept of road cycling.
Cheers,
Chris

Sorry, I thought I'd put that in there but I must have deleted it!
I'm in the Northwich area.

I have, my uncle has ridden with them for years and he told me the short rides are generally 60 miles or so. I could only get about 30 in good weather.0

The best thing to do in that case is to just keep cycling and gradually increase your distance, by the summer you'll be up to 60 miles.0
