Cabling a felt ar5 with Ultegra 6800
So I'm doing my first groupset swop and I'm changing out mostly 105 bits for Ultegra 6800. Great thing about Shimano is the lack of instructions!!!!! Everything was going ok till it came time to run the new cables....
With the existing setup the felt has internal cables with cable outer running all the way through the frame. There is enough brake cable outer to do this, but no chance with the gear cables.
Am I missing something, there are also loads of extra ends in the shifter box.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a manual?? Or even pics of their 6800 internal runs.
At this rate I'm going to use my old outers which seems to defeat the object

You're not missing anything, there won't be enough outer to run through the frame, I'd guess that the rear brake was a close run thing.0

Take the opportunity to fit some blingy coloured outers!0

Reuse the outer cables that you have just taken off!0

Cheers loads of help there.
Really funny, loads of brake cable both front and rear and really stingy on gear cable.
Just want to get back in the bike at the weekend!!!0 -
