Morning Losers!
Doesn't feel midweek to me. Dunno why.
Had fun yesterday, got called outside work as a woman had fallen and twisted her ankle. By the time I got there, 3 women were around her, 2 of them claiming to be nurses, one a first aider (who was on the phone to the ambulance) so I asked a couple of questions and said "We need to move her and raise the foot" and they practically screamed at me that I'm not to touch her "We're nurses, we know what we're doing".... well clearly you don't, as she's freezing on the floor and you're DOING NOTHING!!!
Anywho, today, more busy times ahead. It's good, the days are passing quickly. My excercise routine is going ok, though it's 'moving up a notch' next week, so we'll see how I do.

Serious case of CBA going on here at the moment, the days are seriously dragging
Anyway, another parcel should arrive at work today from CRC so my motivation levels will increase massively later when I get home and have fettling to do
Off out into the floods to work, laters."Arran, you are like the Tony Benn of smut. You have never diluted your depravity and always stand by your beliefs. You have my respect sir and your wife my pity"

Yesterday was a write off in terms of work, so today will be busy busy busy.
Still no sign of the Pikes turning up which sucks donkey balls, but should be getting out for a midweek blast anyway.
Onwards to box ticking and coffee drinking!0 -

no idea as I work on my own as an onsite engineer, I have nothing to do with anyone else really. but we did have a memo saying that we had made 13% more profit this year than last, so the company isn't losing money as we had a similar memo last year :?0 -

nope, I've never had a review. I moved to this job 2 years ago (from another job in the same company) and I still haven't signed or even seen a new contract! after asking for 1 several times!!
but yes, thanks for that. I think i'll email her now asking her for a review0 -

Just tell your boss you don't think you're being paid enough. It's what I've done, and some time this month we're going through the whole fun process of Job EvaluationIt takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Morning mongs!
Not sure about today, a balance between meh and woo! but not sure where it will end up.
I have just ordered loads of non bike related stuff, on the basis that I had to cancel the Ti456 thanks to new tyres & £500 a set.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

Haha realistically you shouldn't move someone if they've hurt their back or head or something serious, but foot?! They probally just wanted to get involved.
People are such busybodies nowadays. Dad bumped into the back of someone last week at traffic lights so he and other driver got out, agreed there was no damage and was about to move on. Then, out of nowhere some frantic lady came running along the pavement and started saying "I saw everything, I can be a witness - I've recorded number plates bah blah blah". What a Cnut0 -

Kev, do you ever get any of those salary surveys from recruitment firms that list out pay ranges and benefits by type of job/location etc? They're useful if you're not getting the market rate - as my boss will find out in March. I can tell him that I definitely didn't fill in the survey as my salary is off the bottom of the firkin scale
More quarterly reporting and other tax rubbish to follow this afternoon. Looking forward to dodging big lumps of metal tonight on the way home and have bagged a weekend play on the bikes so things are looking up."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." Work is boring. All the work I cleared before Xmas is now coming back to me in the form of responses to deal with, very boring.

Hello mongo-lians.
Meh day today. Had my maths mock paper #2 today. I spent all my time revising the stuff that didnt even come up on the paper. What a joke!!! The whole paper was just all graphing. Im so annoyed at that. I reckon i done alright though. Tomorrow is 2x Physics papers and 2x Geography papers.
Went orthodontists today. News is that im going to have to get operated on somewhere before or after my summer exams. Id prefer before so there is no chance of it effecting the start of my summer holidays. Apparently they are going to anchor my tooth up as the gap isnt opening wide enough for my tooth to come through still. What a bummer.
Even more of a bummer was me getting my first puncture on my tyres in around a year. All of those road miles, then i get a puncture on some fireroad that i was on for around 2-3 minutes. Left me a lovely 4 mile walk home.
My new years resolution is going well so far. Spent fark all on food so far this week. I managed to double the money in my bank account. Im now on £10 Trying to save up for some Superstar Nanos.0 -

Back in the spirit of this thread. Afternoon spunkbubbles, fairly dull day of work brightened by escaping for lunch with the EPO. Funny how the ride back from lunch always takes a lot longer than the ride there. This working week lark is just too long.0 -

Cracking day in work, and got home avoiding the rain. Win. Now got the feet up watching the box, waiting for the Dakar coverage on Eurosport. Further win.
Tomorrow - more of the same, and possibly bacon. And a trip to the LBS. Because I can.
Onwards! How would I write my own epitaph? With a crayon - I'm not allowed anything I can sharpen to a sustainable point.
