Hi all. Im looking at learning as i go and have an almost bare 20" diamondback outlook frame id like to build up. Ive been offered a donor bike which is a 21". Will this size difference matter (fork angle???) or is it just steerer length that matters? Thanks in advance.

Key points are seat post and clamp sizes, front mech size, brake hose lengths, fork steerer diameter and length.

Frame size has little to do with those, more just what the bike 'is'!
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
