Couldn't find the book thread, but....

If you're a book type person and you haven't requested Santa brings you the above for Xmas, get on it straight away.

Both fantastic, much to take in.

Will sit nicely alongside that big ole Paris-Roubaix book you all got a few years ago.

I heard that Walsh guy had written some sort of stocking filler as well.

I've got both of the Mountain High/er books, and they're both fantastic. I kinda prefer the second one though as it a) gives you some climbs you won't have heard of, and b) takes in quite a few more countries than the first book, which stuck mainly to the heartlands. The new book has climbs from Portugal, Croatia, Czech, Germany, Norway, even Scotland.

I prefer the second but just because it's got loads of stuff that's new and I've barely or never heard of. There's loads of stuff about the more usual suspects.

However despite all that they're beautifully prepared books and a job well done by mr Friebe

    Yep.

Biggish price tag but I would suggest it's worth it. Massive book
