December tour - where?

I'm trying to decide on where would be a good place to do a tour in December. I am thinking about two-three weeks, but I am flexible.
To keep the price down, within Easyjet's reach is always handy. So that leaves me with Morocco. Marrakesh heading south - for better weather and people. Also less traffic. Camping in the desert really appeals. Also tagines. Turkey would be too cold now.
Anyone up for a Moroccan ride?
Other options further afield would be Nepal for a month. Or Namibia. But flights are pretty pricy at the moment. >£800.
I know most of the Southern hemisphere is now in season but the flights are very long and expensive. If I was going for 3 months then it would be more viable.
Anyone got any ideas? Armchair'ed or experienced?

California? Not sure about the climate but the west coast of America is somewhere I intend going at some stage.0

I did a bit of California a few years ago. Carried on to San Diego and into Mexico and then did a two week trip in Baja. L.A or San Fran. is a seriously long flight!!!0

I thought I might revive this as I may have a chance to go on another ride. Dec/Jan.
Did Morocco last time.0 -
Currently looking at Morocco for a small tour around late January. Just wondering what the road conditions are like over there?0

Roads were very good. No problem with a road bike. The passes may have snow in Jan.0
