I've been using Bikeroutetoaster with good results, I have a 705 edge, I have been trying to plan some new routes for a trip to Spain over Christmas and toaster doesn't appear to be working.

What do other users use to plan and download to garmins, I use tcx files too.

Many thanks

I like BikeHike as it shows the OS map as well as google maps.

  • Thank you, have you ever used it in europe, I thought it was for the U.K only
  • I just use the Garmin Connect website. With me moving recently to a new house in a new area, i havent got a clue about the surrounding roads so i create a course on there to keep me off the main busy roads and i just follow the route when i have downloaded it to my 510.

www.ridewithgps.com and Strava routes. The Strava one is still beta, and I have had some routes where it doesn't prompt you for turns.
