Anyone know if the Gore Bike Wear Xenon range is supposed to be "slim" or "tight" fit"?
Just bought medium and large in the Evans sale (189 reduced to 89!) but not sure about the sizing It's the short sleeve gore tex active shell jacket, I think the idea being that it is more breathable than regular waterproof jackets as no sleeves so good in spring/summer rain, but paired with some No Rain arm warmers can get you through autumn and early spring too.
I'm 37.5" chest with a 33" waist, so upper limit on their sizing chart - the medium is certainly a snug (if not tight) fit, but the large is way too big and baggy. Can just about get away with a short sleeve jersey with packed pockets under the medium jacket' but there is no stretch in the material.
The description on the Evans site has this down as a "Gore slim fit", but I have a medium Gore Countdown AS vest (also sold as a "slim fit") and that fits great. Does anyone know if the Gore Xenon is actually intended to be a tight race fit?
As an addition, is there anything to suggest a close fitting gore tex active shell top would breathe any better than than one with lots of folds due to being a looser fit?
Would be interested to hear from anyone who owns this jacket with their experiences, good or bad!

It's a slim fit.
Cheers Barteos. That site also lists a Gore Countdown jacket as being 'comfort fit' so that explains the difference in sizing between my Countdown AS vest and this Xenon jacket. just need to lose a few pounds then (as if I didn't know that already  )Titus Silk Road Ti rigid 29er - Scott Solace 10 disc - Kinesis Crosslight Pro6 disc - Scott CR1 SL - Pinnacle Arkose X 650b - Pinnacle Arkose singlespeed - Specialized Singlecross...& an Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray 4 string...0
