Tempted by a hybrid

I'm sorely tempted to treat myself to a hybrid. Apparently they are widely available from large chain stores (mentioning no names - they don't need to be advertised). I'd much rather buy from a LBS (little bakery shop), but none available near me. What would you do?

No, I give in. I can't reorganise those random words into a meaningful sentence........

  • For those that hadn't clicked the link, or had feared that I had lost any sense of reason, the hybrid to which I'd refered is a duffin (cross between a donut and a muffin). So what's the verdict, nom nom or no mum?

It looks like a doughnut shaped muffin, I mean a muffin shaped doughnut. Don't see the point myself.

True, true... you'd be tempted try one to see if you get the best of both worlds... but end up ultimately disappointed and wish you'd just saved your money and got a proper doughnut or muffin in the first place. You know: like everyone more experienced told you to in the first place.

  • I considered proposing a hybrid Twix and Kit Kat, but couldn't think of a suitable name, or decide how many fingers should be in it.....

I like muffins and i like donuts.

I like the idea, but will ultimately be let down.

Would a twix/Kit Kat Hybrid be a Twit? Twat? or twit twat?
