I've got a Castelli San remo thermosuit for this winter, however as I may look at riding in the dark for some training sessions I don't like the idea of not having too bright clothing.
I'm quite a warm body anyway so hardly ever wear more than a jacket and undervest.
I'm looking for a fluoro yellow gillet to go over the top of my thermosuit.
I had a look in JE James the other day and the fawesome looks the best however this might be a bit warm.
I want a close fit, some weatherproof material and something which doesn't look crap overall.
I don't like mismatching manufacturers so would like to keep my kit all the same manufacturer.

The Fawesome is really good, somehow seems to be perfect at keeping me warm and not feeling the wind on the front but breathing unbelievably well on the back. By placing the zip in one of 2/3 posisions, I can adjust the temp to perfection. Just about the only gilet that I feel completely comfortable in. Mine is black, which doesnt fit your brief - I think even the yellow one has a black back though doesnt it, which is a shame.

I have a cannondale and a funkier gilet - both of which have a black mesh on the rear to stop overheating, neither of which work as well as the Fawesome. I also have a Gore Phantom softshell where the sleeves come off and I cant wear it as I sweat too much, even without the sleeves.

The Gabba will fit your remit perfectly.

    No mention of price constraint.
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.

I know that it's not Castelli, but Probikekit have Sportful Hot Pack 4 gilets in the colour you're after and they're reduced at the mo.

The Gabba/ Fawesome gillet is available for £70 which is fine for me.
My only concern with it is whether I'd possibly be too warm.
I think I'll go try one on at the weekend and decide, I know this will fit the best anyway.
