Im looking at new trail bikes and most seem to come with Fox CTD forks which I don't like. Can the CTD damper be replaced with a proper, adjustable damper?
For 2014 Fox have changed the settings to offer a broader range between the 3 settings so they should be better. I rode a 2014 the other week with a FIT damper and the difference between that and my 2013 fork was night and day.
Also if it's a 34 with a FIT cartridge Pushind do a new compression cap assembly that TFTuned will be stocking that allows adjustment of both high speed and low speed compression. It's not that cheap though when you factor in a FIT cartridge rebuild at the same time.
