Seems like a bargain. Carbon frame , some 105, any reason please?

Because they want to clear it out for new 2014 bikes IMO.0

Looking at it I don't think it is that cheap.0

Looks alright actually, don't know anyone with a Forme. I think the price has been made with the own-brand calipers (easy/cheap to upgrade later) and the shifters (less cheap!) but I've never heard of Shimano Bona before let alone used them :¬)Music, beer, sport, repeat...0

It does look good vfm. Only cost cutting appears to be the Microshift shifters and the own-brand brake calipers. Buy one and let us know how it goes!0

Ok cross that one off the list then, it on the face of it looked cheap.0

Why cross off the list??
I live in Derby (where they're based) and see more of these every day. They're sold in one or two of our local bike shops and they look pretty good! Not got one myself, but would consider them if I was looking to buy.0 -
Doesn't strike me as overly cheap or good value, for £150 more you can get this...

Lots of other good bikes around at the moment too so I'd give that one a wide berth"Arran, you are like the Tony Benn of smut. You have never diluted your depravity and always stand by your beliefs. You have my respect sir and your wife my pity"

Forme are a non-mainstream brand & poor components on the whole on this bike. For me there are far better bargains out there for that sort of money. Very little Shimano 105 on the bike at all. Microshift shifters, etc etc etc.
Recently advised a tall pal of mine to purchase one of these

Understated brand in Ridley, very good frame and FULL 105 groupset. A bit more money it's true, but worth every penny over the Forme IMO if the XL size is right. Have ridden a Damocles myself previously for a few months - thought it was a super all-rounder.0 -
Cheaply made carbon frame, that microshift stuff I have seen is DIRE, relativly unknown brand, old model bike which the wholesalers AND Rutland are prepared to take a hit in profit. All reasons it's cheap.0

Thanks all, its now off my radar. The search continues.0

Looks very nice, I think it has an integrated set post which I don't want.0 -
Microshift levers got a poor review in one of the UK cycling mags.0

This particular model does indeed have an integrated seatpost (the model without was sold out). A compromise that I'd be happy to take at the price but others might feel different of course.0
