hi all.
i`ve just purchased a madone 4,5 and i am very impressed, but i have been told that the best upgrade i could do is the wheels. but would a new set of wheels improve the performance that much, but to what extent would that improvement be. if so i`ve found a set of the above for £219.00 which is a great price, or would i be better looking elsewhere. budget £300.00

many thanks.

your wheels are that bad and TBH I doubt your notice any difference...your Bonty wheels are going to retail around the £300 mark as it is.
Your need to spend £500ish or more and even then your only get limited difference.
best thing to upgrade (though the standard arent bad) would be the tires...get some nice Cont GP4000s on and your def notice the difference !

more difference then changing your existing wheels to Ultegra ones....minimal weight difference.

tyres would make the biggest difference to the ride, acceleration and grip
