Cervelo R3 and and Ultegra DI2, will it work?

I recently bought an R3 and I'm about to upgrade the gruppo, will an Ultegra DI2 work I really want electronic shifting, or should I get the Dura Ace 9000 instead? will A DI2 work with external cable routing as well?

    That's strange as it works for me. If you go to the Cervelo forum and just search for R3 Di2 it will pop up near the top.

    It will work with external cable routing, but surely aesthetically you want a frame with specific Di2 internal routing.

    It will work with external cable routing, but surely aesthetically you want a frame with specific Di2 internal routing.

    and why is that, will my frame look bad?
