    In a vain attempt o get this back on topic. As 'near' is an arbitrary distance there is also a reasonably new trail at Sandwell Valley a lot shorter than Follow the Dog or The Monkey Trail ideal but for an overweight nearly 50 year old stager like me it was a good reintroduction to a trail and last Saturday I had it to myself.

    Saw a sign on a restaurant that said Breakfast, any time -- so I ordered French Toast in the Renaissance.
