How to treat a scuff on a bike?

please help me some reckless dumbass made my bike fall into his and there is a scuff on the top tube, the scuff is only clear coat deep but it just looks obvious so what should I do? i've heard that nail policy works, does it? if not what other methods can I use?

If it's in the clearcoat just get a polishing compound and polish it out, you will be surprised at how bad a scratch you can remove. I did a friends the otherday and he had some really bad, deep scratches on his top tube.
