Ride both and see which you prefer. A friend of mine has a caad 8 for his winter trainer and loves it so out of the two I would say the cannondale but it's not my money. Hope this helps

You need to sit on a bike to get an idea as has been mentioned. If these are the two you want to choose from, fine. But in these 2 bikes price range, at this time of year, there are hundreds of deals to be had if you are prepared to shop around. Sales are nearly always on in once place or another. What could have been a grand bike could be had for a few hundred less. That means, better wheels or groupset. These are the areas that will make a bike ride better than the frame and fork.

Find an Evans outlet near you and have a look at the Pinnacle Dolomite 5 2013 model

    http://www.evanscycles.com/products/pin ... 3#features

On offer down from £900 to £765 at the mo and I'm sure you could haggle a bit more off as it's the outgoing model. More or less full Shimano 105 and some RS10 wheels (not great but better than those offered on similar bike in this price range.

Road test in current issue Cycling Plus voted the Dolomite best out of 6 bikes in the price £1K bracket.

We have no idea about you or what you want to do with your bike - or anything. So impossible to comment.
