Canyon Bikes - payment

I'm interested in getting the 2014 Roadlite AL 7.0. Current availability says 8 weeks, I'm just curious how accurate these lead times are and when do they take the payment from your bank account (i.e.. do they take the payment upon receiving the order or is taken upon dispatch?)

    Payment on despatch.

    Canyon UK running a promotion (via FB) that waives the cost of the Bikeguard box and gets you a free 'Canyon cycle kit' (whatever that is) if you order before midnight, so make your mind up quick!

    Seriously though, I had great experience buying my CF SLX from last year's sale, but the problems/shortages with that particular model in 2013 (new model) are well documented on here...
