Hello everybody, I have been looking around for a road bike for the past month. My experience with drop bar road bikes pales in comparison to mountain bikes and flat bar road bikes. I have been visiting several shops trying out different bikes and seeing what I like. My goal is to get a bike that will last me a good long while. While visiting my LBS, I was introduced to a 2012 Norco CRR One (http://www.bikepedia.com/quickbike/Bike ... glHPZK1F8E), slightly used selling for CAD$1700 before tax. The bike is in great shape and was surprisingly comfortable despite being fairly aggressive compared to the other bikes I have tried. My end goal is to complete a 250km journey but I am unsure as to how comfortable I would be on this bike. My test rides have only been around 30 minutes, not quite enough for me to feel tired or sore in anyway so it is difficult to gauge and project my level of soreness after longer rides. Other bikes I have looked at include the 2012 Masi Evoluzione Apex (didn't test ride yet, http://www.bikepedia.com/quickbike/Bike ... glUzpK1F8E), Norco Valence A1 (more upright, sportive bike), and the Masi Gran Corsa (sportive). The ones that I tested all felt great for the 30 minute ride that included some hills and flats. As it stands now, the bike is just for fitness and "exploring" although I won't completely rule out racing in the future. Any suggestions on how to approach this matter? The price for the Valence and the Gran Corsa are roughly the same although I liked that the Gran Corsa has internal cable routing for the rear brake. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :D
