Bike Shop where I can try saddles ?

I have been a Brooks saddle user for 30 years and have found them perfect for my backside and have never had the slightest trouble even on tours of a few hundred miles.........up until now.

I have been in agony riding any of my bikes with a Brooks for the last 6 months. Several trips to the Doc including ultrasound and an MRI has failed to find anything wrong and I have come to the conclusion I need to try a different type of saddle.

Is there anywhere in the South East or South midlands I can travel to try a rack of different saddles ? I don't want to go through the buy and reject process as I will know within 10 seconds if its wrong due to the pain. I tried a few mates saddles all of which were painful and then ran out of mates with decent saddles

Does anyone know of anywhere ? I don't mind travelling

Most Specialized Concept stores and Selle Italia dealers will have test saddles. Aside from that your best bet is to ring individual shops in your area and ask.
    English Cycles V3 | Cervelo P5 | Cervelo T4 | Trek Domane Koppenberg
  • Ring around for Fizik test centres - AFAI Specialized no longer do test saddles they give a unlimited exchange policy for their saddles instead. Bontrager are the same I think.

Edinburgh Bike Co-op were very helpful when I bought a saddle a few years ago, they said put some electrical tape on the rails and if I wasn't happy just bring it back.
