Hi All,
I am still looking for a 2.5k road bike, I was hoping to pick up an end of season bargain but no luck so far.
Ideally I would like a good carbon frame and ultegra di2 from a from a good manufacturer, am I being to ambitious?

Perfect for you,in stock all sizes too!0 -
I would give Starley in Altrincham a good look.
I see a guy riding a JKS AR with Di2 on one of my routes
and it looks very nice, about £2.7k I think.

I would take the focus izalco Pro 2 every day of the week. Frame has had top bike of the year recently with a mech groupset, so with DI2 it would be even better. Sigma Sport are doing it lest than £2400 at the moment. GET IT0

The ones in the sale normally are. Where are you based? Give them a call, they are very helpful. I paid £1800 for the TCR Advanced 1, even when it was still showing £2500 still on their website0

Definitely worth travelling for, they stay open until 8 on Tuesday and Thursday too. Weekends tend to be a bit busy. Great shop, only 30 mins from me and I have bought around 5-6 bikes off of them in the past!0

Snap. I was looking for a di2 with the same budget.
Just bought this. Matte black. Great reviews and a steal at 2k. Use the other £500 to get some better wheels and you have an awesome set up.

Thanks for all the ideas all, I went for the Canyon Aeroad 7.0 Di2 in the end, now I just have to spend days waiting for my delivery email0

The Li2 is a pretty good deal - there are quite a lot of reduced-price bikes currently around the £2000 price-point that are mighty tempting especially when they are loaded with Ulegra Di2
That one looks to have better components than some with ZIPP bar/stem/post and Arione saddle plus Easton wheels.
I had a glance at one of these in the local Evans a few months ago and wasn't sure that the frame proportions looked 'right' to my eyes but reviewing photos now it doesn't look at all bad - not for that price anyway.
I'll have to stop accessing this forum - too many people giving details of bike-related stuff that tempt me to get the card out.0 -
Li2 has arrived. Superb ride !0
