I have seen a Supersix Hi-Mod 2011 frame and fork for sale like this one http://www.paulscycles.co.uk/m6b0s25p5132/CANNONDALE-SUPER-SIX-HI-MOD-FRAME-AND-FORK-2011 but secondhand. It seems to be in good condition and they want £500 for it. Is this a good buy?

I am being cautious because I love my CAAD9 and it would have to go to buy this.

Cheers!

I would say it is a great buy for £500.

If you are happy with BB30 it may be an OK frameset.

As for how much - such questions are not allowed under forum rules so you need to do research and decide its worth yourself.

I snapped up one of Westbrooks £500 CR1-SLs. For a brand new frame / fork / headset and BB I thought it was a bargain. Compared with that, £500 sounds a bit high for a used F&F. Then again the Supersix Hi-Mod is supposed to be very good, so I could be wrong.

At the end of the day if it's what you want and you're happy to take the risk with second hand carbon, go ahead.
